📓 Notes

Sorry I'm late. I got distracted with a Bank Holiday. I did resist the urge to take another week off work. But I do so love the efficiency of 9 days off for the price of 4.

📚 Reading

I have managed to track down second hand copies of the Harry Potter books, I've now got book one in the "Reading" Room¹ because I'm fairly sure it's the only way I'm going to force myself to read more.

🧪 Experiments

Making a server project for the site. See my frustrations with Vibe coding.

🎮 Game news

Been playing GTA IV. Just managed to get to the next islands, So still a long ways to go. I'm just looking to complete the main story. I managed it with GTA 3, Gta: Vice City & GTA:San Andreas. I'm not sure if I'm going to attempt "The Lost and the Damned" or "The Ballad of Gay Tony" but I might circle back around once I've done GTA V.

I saw an interesting post about pulling comments from Mastodon for static websites. Just saying so I have a note for a future experiment😉

🎞️ Films

• Havoc (2025) - Turns out it was filmed in Wales and Tom Hardy was defending Barry Island.
• Cleaner (2025) - Daisy Ridley being bad-ass.
• Now You see me (2013) & Now You See Me 2 (2016) - As is my way, I found out that the forth is planned and the third is out later this year. So I had to watch them both just to be sure I was going to watch the next one.
• F9: The Fast Saga (2021) - FINALLY it's available on ITV-X been waiting months to watch this

📺 TV

Finished QI - Series V & all of QI - Series U and then started QI - Series T

New Series of Taskmaster!!!!!!

Started watching Timeless (2016), it's started well but I'm only a few episodes in so we'll see.

Whereas The Recruit I binged Season 1 in one go and I'm well into Season 2.

🎧 Music

I still love Anthrax, Oh wait, just let me just check they haven't done anything stupid... No I think we're still OK, you have to check these things.

I had forgotten just how much I loved Anthrax - Persistence of Time & Sound of white nose🥰
