Week Notes 2025-01

OK, so I've decided to try and do a weekly notes post like all them other bloggers, mostly to try and get a regular writing habit going, and it's also a good way for me to keep track of things.

📓 Notes

Saturday went shopping with Wife. Apart from that my last week off work for the holidays has been just faffing around doing nothing.

But it did snow today and then the guttering started to come off the back of the house. So I'm probably going to have to fix that when the snow thaws. 🙁

📝 New Blog

I've done the layout for the Obsidian vault, and I've written an accompanying blog post about it. I'll keep as a draft until I'm closer to getting the new SSG to the point I can use it. Likewise, I've written a post for the new publishing process.

🎞️ Films

Started rewatching the Star Wars films again to go to sleep, this week I managed to get through the first five. I honestly don't think the first three are all that bad, not the best but not that bad. As for the two one-offs I still don't see what all the fuss was about, they hold up fine.

Also this week we watched The Fall Guy I enjoyed it I do hope they get to make a sequel🙂

• Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2024 - Jimmy Carr hosting another quiz on stuff that happened this year, I laughed as I was supposed to.
• Big Fat Quiz of Everything - Same.
• Squid Game S02E01 - "Ppang-gwa Bokgwon" - I think I'm going to like this, again.
• The Great New Year Bake Off - Nothing TV to fill in the time.

🕹️ Games

• Every Friday night I get online with the same few people and play Golf with Friends we swear at each other while playing golf or because of the golf it's not clear which.
• Started playing Reactor Idle. I remember playing this for ages a few years back, and it popped up while I was doing something online, and well I'm I've got this particular monkey on my back once more.
