📓 Notes

So with being tired for most of the week I didn't get much in the way of posting done for Blaugust, until Saturday. So I'm not holding out any hope of bagging the big shiny achievement for 31+ posts but that's no reason to give up now.😉

I did manage a lazy excuse post and a post about me adding Mastodon Comments to the site. Other than that I made a few tweaks to the site layout, nothing too impressive.

This week feels like it's going to be more of the same the only down side is I don't have a good idea for the next feature to work on. I'll need to give it some more thought or you could suggest what I should work on next.🤔

📚 Reading

I've got to the point were we've met all the important characters, so the real story can start. It's a big book it's going to take me a while, OK.

  Fun and I loved that it referenced a load of bands I love :-)
• The Pickup(2025)
  Eddie Murphy back on form, 'twas good 😸
• Herbie Fully Loaded(2005)
  Look I grew up watching Herbie films I think Herbie Goes Bananas was the first film my mum took me to the cinema to watch while she slept... Don't ask, it's just how we used to watch films together.
• Hackers(1995)
  A classic and as Sunday was August 10th It seemed fitting to watch it on Zero Cool Day,
  "HACK THE PLANET!"

📺 TV

• QI Q & R
  Because we started with the last series and worked back for a time then jumped to the start, we have now watched all of them. Probably going to switch to TBBT for a time.
• The Big Bang Theory Season 2
  Still working my way through Series 2, I'm in no rush.
• The Recruit Season 2
  I enjoyed the first season, I had to watch the second. I'm not sure it was meant to be a dark comedy but I did laugh a lot.
• Gabriel Iglesias: Legend of Fluffy
  I've always got time for more Fluffy 😆

🎧 Music

I've made more of an effort to listen to music this week. It does help with focusing while I work. I seem to spend less time daydreaming. But it does mean I've been listening to more of the old faithfuls - Rock, Metal, and what passes for Alternative.
